Thulium fiber.
1927 nm.
Precise on purpose.
UltraMD targets melanin and water, the two chromophores that matter most for surface-level skin concerns. At 1927 nm it stays in the epidermis and upper dermis, where pigment, texture, and fine-line signatures live. Deeper concerns belong to deeper devices; this one works where it’s most needed.
The result is refinement, not reinvention. Pigmentation lifts gradually. Texture smooths. The skin behaves younger without looking different. Over multiple sessions, or paired with Potenza in the UltraGlow protocol, the effects compound.
Built for concerns that live on the surface.
- Sun-induced pigmentation and age spots
- Uneven skin tone
- Fine lines, especially around the mouth and eyes
- Enlarged pores and textural concerns
- Early photoaging
- All Fitzpatrick skin types, including deeper complexions
- First-time laser clients looking for minimal downtime
- Existing clients maintaining an UltraGlow result
Shorter than UltraGlow. Still clinical.
30 minutes of topical anesthetic, clean prep, treatment-area protection.
Controlled thulium fiber passes across your chosen zone. Warmth, a brief sharpness in sensitive areas, nothing beyond what we prepared for.
Cooling mask, mineral SPF, recovery protocol handed to you in writing.
Total appointment: 60-75 minutes. Expect 1-3 days of warmth and mild roughness before skin begins to refine. Most clients return to normal routines by day two.
One treatment. Three canvases.
Face + Neck
$550Extends coverage to the neck, where sun damage and laxity often show first.
Face, Neck, Décolleté
$650The complete canvas. Treats the full photoaging zone in one session.
Not sure which is right? The $50 consultation maps your concerns to the appropriate zone.
Refinement over weeks, not days.
You’ll notice the tone change first: brightness, clarity. Fine lines and texture refine gradually as the skin turns over, typically visible at the 3-4 week mark. A series of 3 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, produces the most complete result.
Tone + pigmentation, series of 3
Texture refinement, series of 3
The ones we get most often.
How is this different from UltraGlow?
UltraGlow pairs this laser with Potenza RF microneedling in one session. It reaches deeper into the structural layer. UltraMD alone focuses on surface concerns: tone, pigment, texture. Both are excellent. UltraGlow is layered; UltraMD is targeted.
How many sessions will I need?
For most concerns, a series of three (spaced four to six weeks apart) produces the fullest result. Maintenance after that is typically once or twice a year.
What's the downtime?
One to three days. Warmth and mild roughness, like a sunburn. Most clients return to normal makeup routines by day two.
Is it safe for my skin type?
Yes. The UltraMD is cleared for all Fitzpatrick skin types, including deeper complexions. Settings are adjusted based on your pigment profile during consultation.
Which tier should I book?
If you're focused on your face, start with Face. If sun damage or laxity shows in your neck, add it. The Face + Neck + Décolleté tier treats the full photoaging zone. Ideal for sun-facing Hawaiian skin. A $50 consultation will help decide.
