Chayata earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo in 2020, building upon years of clinical experience as a registered nurse at Hilo Medical Center. Those foundational years in acute care cultivated a deep understanding of human physiology and the body’s remarkable capacity for healing.
She serves the Hilo community as a family nurse practitioner, specializing in family medicine and orthopedics while treating a wide range of medical dermatological conditions. This dual expertise, clinical medicine and aesthetic practice, informs every treatment protocol at KHLĀI.
Years of advanced study in regenerative aesthetics, energy-based devices, and injectable artistry led to the founding of KHLĀI Medical. The name honors her Thai heritage: “Khlāi” means to relax at ease, a philosophy woven into every patient interaction.
